Our role: The IRGO geomechanical laboratory carried out laboratory tests on soil and rock samples taken from boreholes.

In the geomechanical laboratory, we determined (in accordance with the SIST EN 1997-2:2007; EC 7: Geotechnical planning – part 2, Ground research and testing) the natural moisture of the soil samples as well as the liquid limit, volume density, sieve grain size distribution in combination with the areometric method, shear strength, oedometer test with incremental loading, permeability with falling head test; on rock mass, we tested the unconfined compression strength and triaxial compression strength. Based on test results, we classified the soil and determined its physical parameters of strength and deformability.
