Preparation of the DGD and PZI Project Documentation for the Facilities on the Third Development Axis, Section Velenje – Slovenj Gradec

The scope of works for the preparation of the DGD and PZI documentation for the approximately 17.5 km of the section for the new national road of the third development axis includes three tunnels, namely the Vodriž tunnel (approx. 660 m), the Pusta gora tunnel (approx. 1200 m) in section E and the Konovo tunnel (approx. 500 m) in section H.

Eight designs were carried out as part of the preparation of the PZI design documentation for the retaining structures. The most complex retaining structure is OK-06, located on the left side of the future expressway at the end of the Pusta gora tunnel, with a total length of 207 m. The retaining structure consists of anchored beam structures on four floors. The sections of the OK-06 beam structure shall be at a slope of 5:1 (79°).
