Carrying out investigations for the protection of existing infrastructure and facilities.

Carrying out investigations for the protection of drinking water.

Establishment of geotechnical and hydrogeological monitoring.

Technical properties

The hydropower plants will be built in the Sava River canyon in challenging geological and geomorphological conditions. The Ljubljana - Zagreb international railway line and the Ljubljana - Zidani Most main road pass through the planned basins, which will make construction very challenging, as the smooth flow of traffic must be ensured at all times.
